A successful experiment Malcolm, they look as though they have a soft texture which would possibly be good for blending. I'll look out for your 'more serious, piece.

A quick sketch based on a scene from long ago on my travels mainly to try pout the new Caran D'Ache pencils I was given, must admit I do like the smothness of them, this only took 10 min it will be interesting to use them on a more serious bit of work.
