Thanks a lot for taking the time to look and to comment on my work Sarah, much appreciated.

Lovely pen work and colours Malcolm - and the gravestones add interest to the composition.

Thanks very much for your comments and the observation about the gravestones Jenny, much appreciated.

I love the title and I love the painting Malcolm! You're getting more adventurous with your scribbles and marks, they seem much looser and free which has brought it to life.

Thanks Fiona that means a lot coming from the master of the pen and wash.🎓 ✍🏻🎨 Because you know what I think about your pen work.

This is a sketch of a footpath leading out of the graveyard of my local church of St Lawrence, the footpathh has been in use for as long as anyone can remember running between the fields and behind the vicarage. The gate and fencing are iron and very old they are now showing the ravages of time.
