This sketch was done on a walk along Haltwhistle burn and gorge, the buildings are were they use to make clay drainage pipes for the land and other uses, the chimney is actually a remanant from the ols South Tyne Collery, it was a ventalatinon shaft, all of this burn and gorge used to be industrialised but has now gone back to nature. Haltwhistle is in Northumberland.
