Lovely painting

Really nice place, lovely Malcolm.

Thanks Carole, yes the whole area is a lovley place to be I prefer Autumn or winter when there are less people around, the sketch was done from a summer trip when I was leading a small group of adults with Learning Difficulties on a days walk, I had booked 7 days at the Log Cabins in Inglebourgh so we had plenty of time, we also did the waterfalls walk circuit, recommend that to anyone, artist, photographer, walker and nature lovers cannot fail but love it.

Hi Malcolm, hope you are keeping well.

Hello to you Fiona, I have been off the scene for a couple of weeks having a break up in the Borders at a place called Haltwhistle, managed to get a bit of sketching done etc am now looking foward to geting some work down on paper and seeing other peoples new offerings on the gallery and to answere your question, I am well thank you as I hope you are.

I hadn't seen anything on the gallery from you recently, thought you had deserted us!lol Glad you are okay, look forward to seeing the results of your trip.

This is a sketch of the exit from a feature called Trow Ghyll which is the remains of a cave but the roof has collapsed in ions ago. This is to be found on the back of the hill Inglebourgh one of Yorkshires 3 Peaks, you entre the ghyll through a dark narrow down slope and as yo travell along it, it slowly opes out until you come to this exit and the view of the hills beyound and the Limestone pavements, the circuit of Inglebrough makes a great days walk.
