Two very nice pieces Malcolm particularly like this one

Thank you for that Dennis.

You have shown great patience with this one and got all the wonderful detail of the shapes of the mountains. Coupled with the detail of the wall in the foerground, it makes a super sketch which showcases this beautiful area.

This caught my eye immediately Malcolm - clever touch of the open gate leading you in.also, the contours of the hills are excellent.

Thank you once again Thea and thank you Margorie for your encouraging comment.

Lovely, lively pen and ink sketch, it's so nice to sketch outside in a lovely area

Thanks Pat, yes it is nice to work outside, then if you are lucky when you have finished you can carry on walking.

This is a view from the tink rough car park at the end of Rannerdale against Crummock Water. I had walked and sketched in Rannerdale and just got back to the car when it started to rain, when I got in the car I got this view of the open gate looking across to Crummock Water, so sooner than go off into a building somewhere, I decided to sit in the car and take my time to produce this finished work, ok not pure En plein air I sat in a car but not in a studio and it was raining outside .
