I love the added pen detail Margaret.. especially around the flowers and vase. 👍🏻

Whole scene nicely got together Margaret. Nice work.

Its got a spontaneous expressiveness Margaret. Delightful.

I agree with the above comments, Margaret. Full of spontaneity, lovely work.

Fine fresh vibrant work. I know what you mean by the 'pen pulling it together.' I do that all the time. It's a positive thing when producing fine work like this.

Lovely, domestic, cosy scene. The mediums used work very well Margaret.

I love the pen work. Great composition, Margaret.

This is lovely Margaret, a great style and why not use a touch of pen if it helps.

The cat has just the right attitude!!

Super scene Margaret, I think a little pen work always pulls things together.

Really like it, Margaret

Looks lovely Margaret, a nice still life, great pen work

Love this and the cat makes it look such a natural scene

Lovely art work Margaret, I like the spontaneity.

Thank you all very much for your comments :)

This looks lovely Margaret, I love the cat sitting so peacefully!

Definitely needs a frame Margaret, excellent, interesting composition.

This reminds me of my best friends house, she's constantly got a cat or 10 in the kitchen lol. Fab little kitty you have painted there too.

The cat makes the difference. A wonderful pen & wash, Margaret. So bright and cheerful.

Great painting of the table top and other details

Thank you all :) my friend's kitchen (and cat!) are perfect for painting - lovely colours.

I like the combination of still life and the scene with the cat. Beautiful colors. Good job!

Love the pen work in this, Margaret. It finishes the whole composition. Great!

"Interiors" at art class today. The lovely kitchen (and cat) of a friend - from one of my photos. A3 NOT pad. Watercolour and artist pen. Was intended to be a pure watercolour but (as often happens) needed a bit of pen to pull it together.
