So that's what Derbyshire looks like!! Seriously, I am really liking you movement towards the pinks and purples as they suit this style of painting so well, especially when combined with the blues you use. I have noticed that there is little white in this painting in that the houses are coloured this time. Such an interesting work and you always surprise me with each new one. Great stuff!

Derbyshire is not often as cheerful looking as this Louise, usually it's dull and grey. Wish it was like your painting (looking through rose-coloured specs and all that) lol

An other beautiful scene Louise! I like the long format and the little bit mysterious night atmosphere.

Drink up, Louise! You're on a roll and producing some really super stuff. I think the painting works really well in this format, and I like the "descending night" effect of the darkened sky against the jewel colors of the houses.

Could it be that Derbyshire has turned pink since I left the UK ? you must have wonderfully colourful dreams , another striking painting Louise. : )
