Great colours, love the foreground!

I won't read anything profound into this one, Louise!! Now you'll tell me there is a deep meaning behind it, perhaps.....?! Fantastic colours - that blue - to die for. Tell me - how do you do the foreground bit with all the paler leaf shapes and shadowy bits? Do you negatively paint them? Super impact and the hills are just amazing. Another winner.

Many thanks Kevin, Debs and Thea. Thea, no deep meaning! Re the foreground. I let the initial washes merge together and then it's negative painting. I used masking fluid on the moon, cottages and squiggly bits in the river.

Wow, bold yet elegant is how I would describe this. Love the counterfoil of the gorgeous orangey reds against the blue. Please pardon my slew of late comments. I've been away and am just slowly catching up on the past couple of weeks of postings.
