Bikes

Genius - just love the way it says it all but in such a loose and almost casual way. Your confidence in producing this sketch comes over and it gives the viewer confidence in what they are seeing. Bikes are a tricky subject (all those spokes and wheels!) but you have not let any of these daunt you for a second. Great, Louise.

I have noticed before in some of your street scenes that you are good at bikes. I especially like the weight distribution shown in the rider on the left here.

Thank you Thea, Carole and Sian for your kind comments. I don't own a bike Sian, just used a family photograph as a reference. The one on the left was painted first which probably explains things..!

So glad that your starting to post again as this is superb. Wouldn't it be nice to meet up with everyone at some point in the future and possibly try to get a small exhibition (funded by Painters magazine of course hehe).
