Windblown

This could be another flock of birds...lol! Did you dribble, blow or splatter...or a combination of all three? How you managed to get recognisable human shapes, you're a genius. It's full of movement and I get the windswept hair look especially the one on the left.

lol Fiona, I didn't dribble! I'd read that you started your cockerel at the top and blew away so I tried the same, starting with the hair which obviously began to look rather windswept. I worked my way down wet on wet. Lastly I splashed small flecks of paint and blew at them through the casing tube of an old biro.

This is the second or third figure painting I've seen and like them both/all! Love the freedom within control and movement is very good. Dribble or spit...it's ok...this is a broad church!!

That was me today - windblown and cold! This beautifully conveys being in a blustery wind - hair all standing on end and dress blowing up to reveal one's undies! A great effect and another super dynamic, loose and exciting sketch.

Oh, I can't wait to get back home to experiment. I've filched a lovely bendy straw out of the cocktail I had this evening, I have great plans for it! Love this trio of ladies with attitude!

WARNING!!!!!! Don't try this with Quink ink......thought I would just give it a wee go......I'm not very popular, and the expletives. Does anyone know the name of a good industrial cleaning company? Biro tube eh, that's worth a try.

Ah Christine, what I'd give for a bendy straw! How much do you want for it? My biro casing isn't the perfect tube but a bendy one sounds perfect...I could go round corners.. Thank you Roger, Thea and Christine. Comments appreciated!
