Love the juicy washes in this Louise

Lovely arches and indeed juicy washes as Michael said!

This version has a brighter, more cheerful feel to it, well done.

Liked number one, love number two - look forward to number three!

Both look good to me although there is a more loose feel to this one! Another goody!

This one has a better balance , and its certainly a lot friendlier than no. 1. But I did so like the eerie atmosphere in the first one. Really like two completely different scenes. Curious to see no. 3 !

Very nice pen & wash sketch Louise.

Thank you Sarah, Sharon and Dympna. I sometimes wonder whether I'd paint so much if it wasn't for such encouraging and helpful comments.

Another splendid piece, Louise. Different atmosphere, but I like it just as much as the other. Love the beautiful washes and the wonderful vitality of the penwork.

I love the mixture of pen and wash which you have married with vitality to steal Seok's word. I look forward to the next one!

I like the pen work in this one Louise and the darker brooding atmosphere of the first one so they both get the thumbs up from me :)

Perfect example of urban sketching at it's best. Wonderful subtle colours and interesting and descriptive shapes. Love this one (and sorry it's taken me a while to catch up with it).

Haven't seen your work in a while Louise, and goodness how it keeps changing! I really admire your courage and urge to experiment and push borders rather than sit in a comfy rut like the rest of us (well me at any rate!). This particular one has a certain 60s feel to it which I love. A great combination of dark and light washes.
