So full of interest - great palette - superb composition - what more can I say?

Beautiful work Louise , Beautiful----- oh aimost forgot [ darling ]------- I think I might be going senile -I am now trying to paint pure watercolour on to a black ground --- I will upload one of the efforts Sat or Sun

This is lovely, Louise; gorgeous use of colour and a splendid composition full of interest. How do you do it?!

Great use of colour must have taken awhile to paint?:)linda

Many thanks Michael, Charles, Lionel and Linda! Linda, it seemed to take ages, I kept adding bits until I got to the stage where there wasn't much more that I could possibly add! It is quite crowded but I have to resist the temptation to make any more alterations! It's definitely finished which is quite a relief :)

Lovely sophisticated image.Clever use of scale also.Very much enjoy looking at the cool hills in the background.Very accomplished painting.

Very complicted but interesting work.

Thank you David and Stephen.!

Another beautiful watercolour Louise, I love it

Love the terraced feel to this Louise, lovely and full of interest.

This is vibrant, strongly designed, beautifully painted - another winner! Can I suggest 'Dance of the Tulips' for a title as the tulips, trees and other plants remind me of the corps de ballet all dancing in harmony together.

Many thanks Petra and Lesley. Also, a special thanks to Thea for coming up with a name. I'd rather hoped that someone would and 'Dance of the tulips' is perfect!

The red tulips set this off a treat. Great painting Louise.

Thea is right, Louise: this would be a lovely title for this stunning painting: spring is in the air! Well done as usual.

Wonderful Louise, And I like the path into the painting, :)

Thanks Mia, Siv and William!

Action packed painting Louise, great colours and lots to look at.

I'm beginning to wish that I could live in one of your pictures! Life would be very interesting, that's for sure! :)

It must be hard work keeping your colours clean in a painting as full of detail as this one, but you always manage to do so. It may be crowded, as you say above, but the thing is - it doesn't look cluttered, ie, too full. The brightness and purity of the colours must have something to do with that ... but you've got a secret there somewhere; I shall discover it in the end!

Thanks Sarah, Fiona and Robert. Robert, keep changing the water :)
