Amazingly smashing

Great lines, great colours and quite a sultry pose to boot!

Thanks Derek, Dennis and Fiona. I painted this the other day and after seeing it on screen have just now made her left leg slightly more shapely with a dark outline. Funny how faults show up on screen yet aren't so noticeable in life. I'm struggling at the moment with another blown Beetham tower. I've just rubbed at the masking fluid before the paint was completely dry. Mistake. I'm not a patient person when it comes to painting!

She looks gorgeous again the dark background love your use of masking Louise.

Wow, great colours and effect Louise, those emerald shoes are to die for lol!

Lovely and vibrant as always Louise. Love the colours.

Lovely rich colours and on khadi paper too! My favourite! It's great how your ladeez have attitude in spades and I love her outfit, the fishnet tights are lovely too Louise!

Your ladies are always so slim and well dressed with their high heels and fishnets, Louise! Fab!

Lovely work Louise, she looks quite the poser.

Many thanks to you all!

Oh wow - that is amazing! It the white lines done in paint or is it reserved white paper? I am coming more and more to see the benefits of white paint, which I was always led to believe was a no-no when working in watercolour, but you have demonstrated clearly here that it and can create superb effects. The whole attitude of the woman's body and the expression on her face is so revealing and eloquent - don't know how you have done it but just some well placed lines and paint has told a story about how this woman is feeling. One of your very best!

Really enjoying this new series of your paintings, Louise. This is brilliant! A lovely composition, super pose and just great artwork!

Just catching up on the gallery and find this gem! Lovely deep greens and expressive face, it's fabulous!

That's great Louise - I did comment earlier but it seems to have gone. Love the contrast between the geometric shapes against the looseness of the figure.
