Like these Louise, well done.

You're getting very good at these splatter paintings Louise! I'm trying to do a tree with a straw, it's not turning out well!

Love this style Louise, did you use masking for the white lines? So elegant!

Many thanks Glennis, Christine and Carole. I'm so looking forward to seeing your straw trees Christine. Fortunately we have no straws in the house..I did look honestly! Yes Carole, I used masking fluid before I started splattering the paint. Once the splashes of paint were dry and the masking fluid removed, I then added some washes to try and tie the whole thing together. Apart from the drying times, it didn't take long and is a change for me from my city scenes which I keep telling myself I need to get back to painting. A change is as good as a rest so they say!

Sorry Louise you won't be seeing the straw trees, I binned them!

This works well Louise, lots of movement.

Aren't they just wonderful Louise!

I can see you are refining this technique and this one is very elegant, with the spatters in all the right places. Great movement as well. More please!

Many thanks Stephen, Satu, Dennis and Thea. I shall have to wait then Christine..you can do it!

Hi Louise - I finally got myself back onto POL and have just started looking through the latest posts. This one is very very cool - almost print like in areas - fab.

Brilliant movement Louise!

Lovely ladies - you really manage to create lively and colourful images Louise. This could be a fashion magazine illustration.

Love this really different.

Thank you Sarah, Julie and Audrey.
