I wish I had your unerring sense of colour. I do so admire the way you casually chuck strong colours together and always pick exactly the right ones to surprise and engage your viewer. I can see all these Manchester paintings done very, very large and put on display in some posh gallery! How about doing a huge one???

I tried Thea and failed. When faced with a very large sheet of paper, simple images like this are difficult for me. I start adding detail and loose the spontaneity. As for the colour choice, limiting myself to just a mix of two seems to work. No dithering about as there isn't much to choose from!
