Really like these 'small' paintings, all very well done, and a sense of pride for your home town of port talbot, well done David.

Thanks Andre! I'm a Londoner by birth and upbringing, but have lived more than half my life in Port Talbot. Painting has made me look again at bits of the town which I think, like most people, I'd always sort of taken for granted.

An example of the local council in Port Talbot getting it right and getting it wrong. Beulah Chapel was originally in a small village of houses called Groes which was compared to a Cotswolds village. It was demolished to make way for the M4. This chapel, though, at least was rebuilt a little way away, which is something. It's often known as the Round Chapel, even though it isn't, being octagonal. The scan once again makes the painting look more yellow than it actually is.
