Great observation, are the papers in the foreground you sketching? I know what you mean about scanners...mine's giving me signs that it wants to retire.

Excellent observation and painting David. You couldn’t produce such a convincing painting if you hadn’t traveled like this! I especially like the guy with his head hanging down. Strange to think that I have actually missed travelling by tube this year.

I haven't painted anything for a few weeks, but I had a hankering to paint a tube scene today. My original thought was to go for a platform scene, but then I decided to do a view from inside the carriage. This is acrylic on paper. My scanner has one again taken a very idiosyncratic approach to the reproduction of some of the colours I used.
