Lionel, your paintings are always welcome! I remember a previous one of yours like this one. An impressive sized painting and such glorious colours.

So, if we praise this one, next time you'll post one the size of the Albert Hall....? Well, I can't help that; I like this and would be very happy to have it occupy a wall in my humble abode.

Lionel, you are so versatile, I love this. Love your chosen colours, very vibrant and the birch tree's stand out really well. If I wish some more will there be another of your paintings on the gallery tomorrow??!!

Hi Lionel, delighted you appreciated my comments on your gallery yesterday, have you noticed my pastel portraits I have been doing recently, the most recent one is of David Frost who died at the weekend, take a look, I would be very interested to read some of your comments on some of my portraits, it is really good to enjoy other people's efforts on the site isn't it, it stops everyone from becoming too insular and only concerned by their own work, we of course grow as artists by taking a little something from each piece of artwork that we see and like, thanks Lionel, bye for now x
