I should think you do like it Lionel...I love it!! The colours are soft and summery, there are the right amount of birds....twiceLol!! I really do like it Lionel you should do more in this style, it suits you.

I wouldn't change anything about this painting. It is wonderful. I love your colours and the real sense of the essence of a summer's day on the water. The red sail is a touch of genius and makes the painting. Super painting.

Well, ladies, I really am most grateful for your feedback and your lovely comments. I will certainly try more in this style, Fiona, hopefully without further reference to Stephen Higton's work !! One thing I learned doing this painting is, never try to steal another person's sky! It is far less stressful, far less hassle and far more satisfying to struggle on with your own. And that's what I did here. Thanks again.
