The Castle

Well done, Lionel - I still haven't got over my block yet!!

This has a wonderful fairytale feel to it, a 'lightening' ... of painter's block perhaps? The sky is particularly impressive.

Thank you Ann, Kirstie and Gudrun. Comments appreciated and very encouraging. Now the picture is on here, I think that the two little figures in the foreground are too small. Perhaps I will adjust, (but not re-post). Now, COME ON ANN, I know you can do it! Get some paint marks on to any old support, then, throw it away if not to your liking, and then start again. (It's easy now I have done it. I hope I can do it again!).

Lionel, Lionel......this is beautiful! I love the peachy glow in the sky, very calming and the castle is solid and striking in silhouette. Before I read your introduction I thought it was in watercolour. I hope it has broken the back of your painters block. I did three yesterday and two today, some good, some bad but at least I was painting. Please, please do more Lionel, I will, if you will!! Lol! X X
