I am so glad I looked in today ,and I agree with every one ,,this is a wonderfull job ,,, your trees are just right ,spot one ,,I love em// as you know I study the old watercolour painters .and the trees are as Mr Wesson would do them Edward wesson never blobbed his trees ,as some of his contemperaries are doing now . . these trees are as they should be ,Lionel all the best have a happy christmas everyone Alan and thank you for doing such a great job .

After Alan kindly said that we may copy his work, I decided to try to copy one of his paintings, (posted 13th Dec), by using acrylics instead of watercolours. This is the result. I would appreciate honest comments, particularly from Alan! I have my own feelings about the painting. By the way, Happy Christmas and a Healthy and Wealthy 2011 to all who I have come into contact with via Painters-Online. Now it has been uploaded, I realise what a mess I have made of the photography. I'll try again.........................
