I like all the colours in this, and yes I think you're right about the vase, but it is still a fine painting.

Agree with Stephen, on both counts. The colour of the vase competes for attention with the flowers. but maybe the vase is special to you? When you can see this sort of thing for yourself, as you have, you've made a giant stride on the road to further progress.
