What a difference a better photograph can make - I had my doubts about the first posting, but this is easier for superannuated eyes to see, and the brushwork which is now more easily visible makes all the difference. Glad you did this!

Thank you, Robert. I appreciate your comment. I sympathise with superannuated eyes. I have been diagnosed with Age Related Macular Degeneration...so I had better start painting and drawing as fast as I can !! since there is no cure.

Get as many opinions as possible on your AMD, Lionel, because this is a field of medicine in which some recent progress has been made (I'm no doctor, but I am involved with patient involvement in research & serve on various NHS committees). My very elderly aunt has it, but still has a good range of useful vision. Good luck.
