One subject, 2 mediums, scratchboard etching on the left and a watercolour on the right. Interesting to see the 2 pieces side by side. My painting was done a few weeks ago and my mum recently finished her etching. I really loved this still life as it depicts someting quite humble, but 3 generations of hands have touched some of these pegs. A special way to remember my mum and nan.
