One of the things I love about the characteristics of watercolour, is how your eye needs only some details to fill in the rest. There was a temptation to paint every single scale and texture in this painting, but I realised that it was not needed to capture the fish in the yellow plastic bucket, however, I did paint the little fly on handle...
