Who the Dickings can it be.🤔. Another great sketch 👌

This is first class Lewis, the detail is amazing

That is so good, Lewis - I recognised the man immediately!!!

Very impressive Lewis, is this a recent one?

Thank you for your kind comments. It is new Marjorie, although I’ve drawn him a few times. It’s the first drawing in a new sketchbook (Xmas present). Good quality paper, I intend to use it for portraits, but some will be in caricature style of course.

We all have great expectations when we wake up in the morning anticipating a new Lewis Cooper work. Hope you didn't have any hard times doing this one.

It’s a superb portrait of the great man , you have captured the stern and austere look of the period . “”More please sir””.

Great likeness Lew.

I recognised him straight away! Another really good portrait sketch.

Excellent pen work Lew.

Excellent drawing Lewis.

He looks so demure and like the editor of Pickwick Papers!

Well then Lewis, a perfect start to your new book ( but they’re all great!).

Excellent drawing Lewis and a great start for your new sketchbook.

Excellent drawing.

I love seeing all your drawings Lewis, this is terrific, love how you've drawn his beard especially.

A good one Lewis, wish it was bigger though to see the details.

Really crisp sketch

I agree with Russell, that beard is excellent and has a life of its own. Exceptional.

Charles surely, a little respect please!

Very impressed as always

The beard is a masterpiece.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
