Cracking!

Love it, especially the deafening silence, wonderful expressions as usual.

All 4 are great ... like the Spiv!

You create such wonderful characters Lewis. Just like faces and the clothes they all have a part in your tales of the unexpected.

Four excellent sketch’s and all beautifully drawn .p

Excellent Lewis. I actually really like your first attempt at the deafening silence sketch as well.

I can imagine that spiv sidling up to a young Lew and whispering, 'Psst, wanna buy some pencils.'

Each one shows a great story Lew. The horror one is very scary!

I always like seeing your posts Lew. Such quality and humour. Your second deafening silence was better I think

Very good Lewis, maybe the Spiv shot the women, maybe she didn't sing so well.

Really good characters, hope you do the spiv as a future topic.

Always so good!!!

Always good to view your illustrations Lewis, and a bonus of a couple of new characters too.

The Spiv will ever be Arthur English Lew. Great work as ever..(-:

Thank you very much for your comments.

Your drawings are always excellent but the narrative just takes them to a higher level Lewis. Cracking!!

Great. Spiv reminds me of George Cole in the St. Trinians films

The 'Tell-tale heart' pic layout looked OK as a thumbnail sketch, didn't work when drawn properly. Must rethink and have another go. The two bottom pics are rough drawings for characters I might use later. Various pens and wash.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
