Superb lewis, you put so much into your art. You are in the Gerald Scarte and Ralph Steadman class for sure.

Just brilliant Lew! I was wondering about the guys in the wheelhouse, but you’ve answered my question in scene two! I’m also not sure those blindfolds work too well- some cheeky grins on all wearing them....

Thank you John and Tessa, for your kind remarks. I'm not sure about your generous comparisons, John. Those two are premier league. I was more influenced by the cartoonists who do those WASJIG jig-saw puzzles...if you know them. I think they're brilliant.

Brilliant, as usual, Lewis (and I have to agree with John, your work is definitely right up there at the top with the best of them!)

Great work Lew, I look forward to you work each day. You are a master of sketch and have the ability to make it humorous into the bargain, with out detracting from the art work.

Fantastic Lewis. Things have come on a bit since then, thank goodness. Keep amusing us if you can Lewis but I don’t know how you do it. Such talent.

😂😂love it great fun Lew, thanks for the titter.

Ah Lew, the standard never drops. Superb work. A blindfolded sailor steering a ship...disaster looms..(-:

Just love this Lewis, bespoke is a great word. Thankyou for brilliant humour.. kept them coming.

Thanks to all for having a look and your great feedback on this piece of nonsense.

This is the reason I would never go on a cruise. Great humour and painting.

Simply superb Lewis, your standards are so consistently high

You just get better and better Lew, I don't know how you think them up. So so funny.

I have had a look at the puzzles Lewis. Great but they are all computer generated as far as I can see. Yours are hand coloured and the details far better.

Thanks again folks. John, you've looked at the WASJIG puzzles and think they are computer generated? Maybe. I thought they were pen and wash maybe tweaked a little on computer. Either way, thanks for the encouragement.

Simply great as usual. Great fun but brilliantly executed!

The story and humour is so compelling that I forgot about the brilliant art work. Got to be a good sign. Top drawer, as usual, Lew. Bri

Priceless Lewis, you have a fabulous imagination.

They are certainly having a merry old time Lewis. Always look forward to your contributions.

If you don't already do so, Lewis, you should convert your work into books for publishing. Jigsaws too! Superb art!

Page 4 of this saga. Fun to do, but I'll do something else next, and come back to this later.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
