Great title and sketch. Looking like the ideas are still on course to me.

I know exactly how you feel but this is another glorious painting, there joint expressions are so happy, a good day out by the look of it.

I know that feeling only too well Lew… nice little sketch!

You could always go into designing postcards Lew.

Always a joy to see your work Lew. It cheers me up

Superb drawing Lew , it’s so skilfully done.

Great sketch, and love the dog’s contented expression.

You've still got it Lew , excellent work.

Great sketch, Lew!

As ever, thank you for taking the time to comment…always appreciated.

Lew - we all get that feeling from time to time... and to prove it, I have it now. Although I think it's more lack of get up and go in my case; it's so easy to just sit and stare through the heat-haze; even getting washed and dressed is an effort; I've got an idea for you, though - something on the lines of Lazy Bones, Sitting in the Sun, How you gonna get your day's work done?

They look happy and content Lewis, looking on the bright side of life!

A very wise, laid back- looking dog ( the one on the right).

That's the life, on the sea with your best pal. Lovely painting Lewis.

A happy picture - lovely expressions!

All it takes is a little spark to ignite and with your outstanding talent you will no doubt be in full flow once more. Love it.

Such a great painting. Love the dog.

another great piece of work.

I agree with Ann, it is a happy picture. What about dipping into the Charles Dickens catalogue Lewis to get you up and running?

I know the feeling Lewis, I've been waiting for inspiration to reappear for a while now! This is such a happy scene it's cheered me up, thank you.

Watercolour and coloured pencils. Got to admit, I'm still struggling to think of things to paint. Hope this feeling shifts soon.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
