Great characters and superbly illustrated.

The " crowd" is great - real characters and well portrayed . Have to confess , though , that Penelope would have me running for the hills.

and I thought my running days were over !!!!

Love all the characters Lewis, you seem to have got sky arts judge Tai Shan Schierenberg in bottom left.

Sorry I meant bottom right.

Thanks to all for your generous comments. Now that you mention it, Alan, he does look like that judge. Actually it's a caricature of my son's friend, I used a few 'faces' I already had for the foreground.

Lew I had to zoom in on all those fantastic interesting faces, each one I could see what they were thinking 😉 A very fine group!

Absolutely brilliant the crowd scene is superb, must have taken ages to do all this characters Lew. It’s all so good it’s difficult to select a favourite bit.

I love it, the art work is fantastic.

Superb work Lew!

Fabulous work! I love your imagination and drawing ability, Lewis.

Such wonderful people and such wonderful artwork

That crowd scene is amazing-wonderful work, Lewis. So many super characters -great fun!

The exhibition looks great Lewis. Is the figure painting still for sale?...on second thoughts, I can't afford it.. lol

Thanks again to all for the great response. It's sold Louise, and anyway, Madame L'Estrange charges a fortune. Wish she was my agent.

Absolutely amazing. The characters of the figures are really great. I love paintings where you have to spend time taking it all in. Well done and keep up the good work as we all appreciate the effort you must be putting in to this story.

This has become a compelling read Lewis . beautifully drawn and constructed.

I’m amazed at the variety of characters in the crowd scene. It must have taken you ages to complete. So well done.

All superlatives exhausted!! Bloody brilliant Lewis!

It’s all been said! I’m amazed at the amount of work in the crowd scene and all the paintings, you are truly gifted Lewis.

These just get better and better, Lewis, but I have to agree with Mike!!!

Excellent characters, and yes, I zoomed as well ! Such imagination.

Thanks again to all who've commented, you're very kind.

Fantastic combination of, illustrative, colour, human expression, imaginative and artistic skills Lewis.

Lew, you're a total star...(-:

A pièce de résistance, Lewis! One of the best yet. I'm sure I can spot you at the opening, or is it the preview?

Thank you Carole, Jim and Marjorie. Yes Marjorie, I am in there...well spotted.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
