What a fabulous character Lew, imaginative stuff!

Wow, so much detail. How long did this take you Lewis?

Great character, Lewis. It’s all the little details in your work that I love, like the spider on his hat!

Scary chap, great work Lewis

Thank you Alan, Tracey, and Jenny. I'm afraid I get carried away with detail sometimes, Tracey. That's the benefit of making things up...you can add whatever comes to mind. I can't say exactly how long, I just do bits when I feel like it. But this pen and wash is a quick way to sketch. About an afternoon's work, I suppose.

A Cooper masterpiece, a lot of the small details in there that we love to see Lew. Your experience and love of the detail really shows in this excellent drawing.

Lot's of detail and plenty of skill.

Lewis , I don't know what you feed your brain on but it is one very fertile place judging by the characters you produce from it. This one scares the living daylights out of me

don't know what sort of brain food you go for but it certainly produces some very original concepts. This one scares the living daylights out of me - and it is coming up to bed time !!!

Well Lew if it gets rid of Covid 19 i'll have some!!! a brilliant sketch as usual, the more you look the more you see.

Such incredible talent Lewis. The more you look the more you see. Just brilliant.

Thanks again to everybody for all your great comments.

Superb Lewis, just love all those small details, so skilful.

Great drawing.....based on anyone we know Lewis?

Good to see you back and in great form Lew.

Fantastic Lewis, seeing them has sent my imagination wild.

You've got to admire an entrepreneur!

Not your usual door to door salesman Lew, but as you say he’s specialising and you need to look the part. He probably wears jeans and a T shirt on his days off. Brilliant characterisation as always.

Yet another Sooper Cooper !! Enough said !

My morning smile thank you Lewis

Very imaginative Lewis and so detailed. Love it. Thank you for your comment on my Renoir.

OK, this is a niche market. He's selling eye of toad, newt and frog, root of mandrake, a virgin's tears, and the breath of serpent, etc. (for the witch market)

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
