I really like the a lot Lew, the quality of your work really show through in this drawing.

good morning Les - you are obviously an early riser to achieve this piece of art - I think we are 13 hours ahead of you at present and it is 20.39 hrs over here - so you must have got stuck in pretty early. Another beaut piece to start the book and day off with.

The figures are wonderful and the border superb! Great detail Lew.

Spooky border but superb drawing again.

Great sketch, Lewis, love this type of thing in monochrome.

Great, detailed sketch Lewis. Lovely combination of mediums.

Thanks very much for all your comments, much appreciated. Glad you like the 'border' Tessa, they're fun to do.

A great border Lew, there is so much going on here! as always, brilliant drawings.

So uniquely you, Lew. One day they'll be worth a lot of money...

Ooer Lew! Where did she come from? Yes, I can see how you must have enjoyed that border, it's as interesting as the main bit.

Thank you Linda, Jim, Gudrun and Marjorie.

Hope you enjoy your lovely new sketchpads. Wonderful detail as ever.

Just started a new sketchbook. Got 3 for Xmas. They'll take pencil, pen, light watercolor, and colored pencils. Decided to use them for more finished work (cheap sketchbooks and bits of paper for the more 'scribbly' stuff). This drawing is pen with charcoal grey inktense pencil...plus clean water on brush.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
