Attractive image Lew, as always.

I marvel at the detail in your work, Lewis. How long did this take?

Another lovely colourful painting. Well done.

Wonderful detail Lewis. Some are not so keen on their patchwork I see. Lol.

Love the idea behind this Lewis being a maker of anything patchwork in the nineties and doing craft fairs when it was all the rage. Your drawing is beautifully detailed as always and the lady reminds me of a young Pat Ferris.

Thank you for your comments. I'm never sure how long things take, Seth. Not too long or I go off the boil. Most of the time I paint at a table in our conservatory, once a picture is underway I tend to work on it in little bites...I suppose if I stayed with it, a day I guess. Linda I have no idea who Pat Ferris is.

Love all the colours and patterns in this Lewis and if that guys not happy with his patchwork hat I'll have it :)

Sorry Lewis, meant Pam Ferris, she was in the series The Darling Buds of May with David Jason and Catherine Zita Jones.

Great work as ever Lewis. Inspiration comes from many things..(-:

Wonderful painting Seth, I've done patchwork myself and so I love the colours you have used, I love the hat and the man's expression!

Another beauty, Lewis, love the expressions on all the faces and the detail of the patchwork

Great characterisation, as usual, Lewis. Really like this one, for its sheer good fun. Brilliant. Brian

Fantastic work Lew, I love the composition and vibrant colours

Just love this one Lew.

This is perfect and love the title.

Yes, I can see it as a patchwork. I like how the female figure dominates :)

A while back my wife was making patchwork cushion covers...that gave me the idea for this. Any excuse to slap on a load of colour. 16 x 12 inches. Watercolour.
