Excellent characters, a cheery start to the day.

Very very funny ... what next spaghetti on trees a la Alan Whicker?!

Potatoes with character...brilliant (-:

Just what we need Lewis a bit of a giggle in this mad mad world.

Ace. Love the characterisation of haggises. Their expressions are brilliant Lewis

Excellent painting and humour Lew. I prefer the wild mountain variety myself, one short leg so they can run at speed around the hills.

And there was I thinking the wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie was a mouse. With just a few weeks to Burn's night, no wonder they look a little concerned.

Another impressive picture to cheer us up 🙂

Thanks for your comments. I remember the spaghetti crop Heather. Odd how ideas arrive. My son was talking about a short break he took in Scotland...we got onto haggis...we had it years ago at Braemar. Haggis, neaps, and mashed spuds. In the dimly lit restaurant it looked like black and white food...I thought I'd stepped into an old movie. It was delicious! So sat at my drawing board I thought of haggis...like you do.

Great work Lewis, I like the one smiling at him behind his back.

Great drawing to start the weekend- love all the different expressions.

Very good Lewis; like Paul, I remember the one short leg and one long leg variety, often depicted on postcards in days of yore! 😂

Great fun, Lewis, love the composition and colours - and all the expressions!

Brilliant Lewis, there's an animated film ready to be made with those 'wee characters.'

Great stuff, Lewis!

;)

Thanks again for having a look and your comments. I don't know what ';)' means Pog.

Great chieftain o the puddin race……. This is fabulous Lewis, I’ve booked my Burn’s supper, looking forward to my Haggis, neeps and tatties

I once had “Dracula’s cookbook”. All the food was black, white and red! The red made things look a bit more cheery. Lovely drawing Lewis!

Great fun, Lewis - made me chuckle! Love all the expressions on the haggis. Lovely colours too.

Superb Lewis. I love the character of the farmer but those haggises look a bit mean!

Such varied expressions on your lively haggises Lewis and I just love that beret and toothy grin.

Brilliant Lewis. This is great fun. I love it.

Their expressions are priceless! Fabulous work, Lewis!

Another pic in my new Multi-media A3 sketchbook. Watercolour, coloured pencil used wet and dry, a tiny bit of gouache.
