There's a lot of 'em about! Especially at ridiculously priced work! Brilliantly drawn as ever, Lewis! Love it!

Great expressions, a wonderful painting Lewis. Great teeth on the ladies.

Brilliant lewis

Excellent characterisation Lewis. More concern with themselves than the art around them!

Fabulous observational humour and character drawing (as always) Lewis

Brilliant characters, Lewis.

Excellent. Love the expressions of the couple on the left.

I like this a lot, a picture paints a thousand words comes to mind. Lew your spot on with the humour and the artwork is beautiful done as always.

Top work Lew, great subject!

Thanks very much for your comments. Always welcome and very encouraging.

I like your work for the same reason I love Jane Austen, Lew; the ability to portray characters is a real gift. Those teeth and the brilliant facials are marvelous. (-:

Ah, the art scene....somewhere to be seen. Don't think of it as art Lew, it's just an investment.

Superb characters, and great expressions, so well drawn.

Brilliant Lewis, I wonder if they could recognise themselves?

So many stories here Lewis. Love all the characters of which are so prevalent in reality. Fantastic expressions and art work.

Brilliant characters. Love their expressions and body shapes.

Spot on Lewis!

I've watched a lot of art docs which include a gallery opening. They seem full of fat cats who stand around drinking and chatting, paying little attention to the art. I suppose they must have some interest, but it's seldom apparent. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's jealousy...I'd like to be a fat cat. Mostly watercolour, some pen and coloured pencil.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
