Challenge very well met and a great drawing - our postie wears shorts whatever the weather

I am always amazed at how certain people wear such flimsy clothing in this "spring" weather! Like Heather, our postie always wears shorts come what may. This is so good and so appropriate, Lewis!!

It’s just what we see most days at the moment, I don’t feel the cold to much but I do dress for the weather . It must be a postie national uniform out postie looks around ninety nine but wears shorts over his bowed clothes prop legs .

Can't help but wonder if they are on the way to the cinema - to see 'Frozen', no doubt. I'm with the sensible chap on the right.

I have come to the conclusion that the customary wearing of shorts is a way of saving on the washing!? Shows my age I guess, I’m with you Lew, makes no sense at all, at least until about June! 🤣

That made me laugh! My Dad says 'there's always one!' when he sees someone in shorts. It's bare midriffs that get me. Just feel cold thinking about it!!

So very true, Lewis - excellent work and humour!

Terrific Lewis, the small details all expertly observed - the poses of all three from the 'chest out' couple to the dithering gentleman with his pink ear warmers and you always capture the 'smug' look perfectly.

Superb Lew , You've got it Spot on, it's the difference between young people and us .

Love it.

Excellent interpretation of the challenge Lewis. Another super drawing.

Great artwork Lewis. This is true to life, I saw a young woman the other day in town in a flimsy dress shivering. The Sun was cracking the flags but it was cold.

Another good chuckle provided Lewis. I once did Christmas work to earn some money by doing postal sorting. I was the only one not wearing shorts.

I love this! It looks like the younger generation out on the town in wintertime. I don't know how they cope without thermals!!

Great drawing for the Spring challenge- some people “strip off” as soon as there’s a bit of sun- even when it’s cold! “Never cast a clout till May’s out” is what they used to say.

Terrific drawing, Lewis! Here in Gozo we can always tell the tourists , shorts whatever the weather...and it's COLD in the Med winters!!!

Thanks very much for your great response to this nonsense.

So good - the grass has certainly ris! I wonder where the birdies is!

Lew ihave just discovered that I can put your verbiage onto Speak…which is brilliant so is your illustration. It’s quite mild today but don’t stand still too long or you might need another layer.

Haha!! Awesome as always 👏

Wonderful humour Lew.

This made me smile, so true!

Made me smile, great drawing😃

Could be me. I’m always the one with 6 layers on. Ha. Great stuff Lew
