Glad to see you back and with such a good one.

So good to have a Cooper a day back , excellent artwork Lew .

Be very careful with that sharply pointed implement Lew. My first thought was not musical. Great stuff. (-:

Never a bum note in your work Lewis!

Good to see you back Lew with your cheering work and droll characters. Is that really a baton?

Happy to see you back Lew, Another great sketch 👌

Good to see you back Lewis. Have missed your humour. This is fabulous.

Such a good thought so brilliantly drawn Lewis.

Brilliant Lewis. Looks like the conductor is checking his score to check which note she’s supposed to be singing or has he poked her with his baton to hit the high notes 😂

This is brilliant Lewis. Great characters and love the expression on the man’s face.

Great to see you back Lewis and with a brilliant illustration. The conductor reading the sheet music and waiting to help when the 'High C ' when needed - very amusing!

Thanks very much for your comments. Always valued. It seems I haven't staged this too clearly...it's a large pin the man's holding, not a baton.

Just love the expressions...and the bum.

The result is definitely going to shatter some glassware Lewis, great to see you posting again.

Just love the humour of your drawings, Lewis! And the great expressions. Superb!

Oh it's quite clear what you meant Lewis,'waiting to help with the high c' translates as a 'large pin to the posterior!

Ouch!! Just brilliant Lewis.

Hello Lewis 🌸 Fab drawing 👌

The contract between these two Lewis is fabulous. Excellent.

A great illustration Lewis. I’m sure she would hit the high C with that needle piercing her ample derrière!

Excellent Lewis, love the expression and imagine the thoughts the man is having

Events at home have driven drawing, POL and art in general from my scene for a couple of weeks or so. Things are slightly better now, so I thought I'd get back to drawing or go quietly mad. Sorry I haven't been commenting recently. This is dip pen and Indian ink...well, the Ackerman non-dip dip pen.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
