Works very well for me Jim!

Your Characters are so richly created Lewis. Does it matter if it's really a saying? The English language is full of these. He has a good head for heights. Anyway the main thing is your work makes us all laugh! See he's laughing his head off,!

Always a treat to see your wonderful work Lewis.

Once again excellent artwork and humour Lew , do you keep a list of ideas as well as you rough sketches.

It’s the kind of Dad jok

Oops. It’s the kind of Dad joke my dad would make and we’d all groan. Now I’m the one making my family groan in the same way! Keep them coming Lewis

This is brilliant. You are really talented in this style of art. G

Real phrase or not, he is clearly enjoying the music. I love the little personal touches you add - a five stringed violin in this case. Not common, but they do exist.

Masterpiece Lew.

A great play on words and so rich in humour and talent Lewis.

My great great grandmother had a head for music. She played a piano. Lovely artwork Lewis.

How do you do it Lewis? You post virtually every day and yet your standards never ever drop, remarkable.

Thanks very much for your kind comments. I do keep a note and scribbled sketches of ideas Dixie...or I'll forget them. Thanks for your comment Russell, but I don't post every day...it just SEEMS like it, unfortunately. Some time ago I decided I'd post no more than every two days. Often there's a longer gap than that. (But most days I manage to draw something.)

A great illustration of a saying- sooo good- as usual.

Brilliant Lewis. Your inspired work always makes me smile.

Fine by me if you did post every day Lewis!

Another br,illiant work!

He definitely does! A great idea beautifully portrayed! Brilliant Lewis!

Clever Lew, he looks so pleased with himself.

Lol awesome work as always Lewis great job 👍

Love the humour in this picture - so well drawn.

This totally works, Lewis! Love your sense of humour, as always!

Did this a while ago. Not sure about it. Not sure 'head for music' is a real phrase. To me it means someone who can play instruments without training or being able to read music. Some people can just DO it. A few in my family like this. A gift. Of course I've warped the meaning in this pic.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
