3 more great character, love that sneaky expression of the man playing the double bass on the far right.

It’s excellent Lew the characters are so good . I went to se a famous jazz singer from the 60s he looked so old then I remembered he was only five years older than me.

Wonderful characters so full of life - so skilful, Lewis!

Three superb characters, very skillfully drawn 👌

Telling stories using facial expressions is a magical art Lew. Brilliant.

Just brilliant Lewis. The bassist admiringly glancing over to the horn player who's in full flow, the fingers of his left hand perfectly placed, specs on his head, all wonderfully observed and immaculately drawn.

Great characters again Lewis.

Three great characters, like the monochrome.

What a wonderful trio full of little details to delight in!

Thanks you all very much for your comments, always appreciated.

Great work. What art is about

I can hear the music! Another cracker Lewis.

I love the way she’s lost in the moment. Excellent drawing.

I can imagine them performing in a Smokey and dark club. Great work!

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
