Very good😁

You made me laugh too - love this duo

certainly a before and after appearance on the faces of the two Toms I would say. That pencil work is very effective and I like the result. My nightly chuckle - thanks Lewis.

Love this Lewis.

I love the way you make me smile on a daily basis Lew. Thank you.

Very good Lewis, great chuckling stuff.

Excellent artwork Lew and the rhyme is certainly worth a chuckle .

The expression on the cat's face is super.

Just what was needed this morning, a giggle !

A great nonsense poem, Lewis - love the cat’s rather evil expression.

Just great Lewis, my wife just asked, 'What's tickled you?'

Such great expressions on both, but especially the cat!

Great expression on the Tom Cat plus of course, your humour.

Thanks to everybody for your encouraging comments, and putting up with my poem.

🤭 love. Lovely drawings. Great poem and love puss cat Tom face expression 🐈

Love that cat’s face 😂

Vintage Lewis. Love it.

I'm not a poet, but I'll take a shot at limericks and nonsense verse. I tell myself if it ends up as nonsense it must be OK. (I'm sure there's more to it than that.) A more realistic drawing...apart from the cat. Started with Faber water soluble pencil, finished with Faber Polychromous. (Dark Indigo) Assembled in photoshop. I tried to form the nonsense verse in the shape of a cat's head...didn't manage it...sure there's an app for that. A3 Sketchbook.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
