It tells a good story Lewis, I like it.

Very good Lewis.

Always good to try something different Lew. (Not that I do very often!)

Actually I think it has definitely got that 1930's Movie poster look Lewis. A treat for us all to see.

This is superb Lew , everything about it is beautifully done.

This is different. Really like it - composition and colours.

A new career beckons Lew. Railway Poster artist extraordinaire.

Different style but still the same skill, well done 👍

You're incapable of bad Lew. Everything is tops.

Like all your work it has wonderful clarity Lewis. Is that what God looks like?

Thanks very much for your comments. Ha...that's a bit deep for me David. I put the girl in because girls in cloche hats spells 'art-deco' to me.

It certainly captures an era Lewis.

She's a cracker....there's something about the 1920's..........

Different and very good, Lewis!

I really like it Lewis. It is very art deco. The lady could be out of a Poirot episode.

I'd gladly hang this on my wall Lewis, I like it!

I think it works works well Lewis 😌

I love it, Lewis. It certainly does have art deco feel, rather like the train posters in that era.

Style and speed Lewis…..like it!

Very 20's Lew. Well done.

Time to change some pictures on my walls, they have to fit a 16 x 12 mount. Not too happy with this, tried to keep it simple. Shouldn't attempt ovals with my wobbly old hands, OK for cartoons, not so good for this. Train 'sort of' based on a Mallard (apologies to train painters). Aircraft very loosely based on Supermarine sea-planes from the 1930's. This won't be going on my wall, I like the pictures already there better. It MIGHT grow on me over time.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
