Thanks very much for your comments. This is not my design (wish it was), it's just a copy of part of Tamara De Lempicka's painting. She's the art deco icon, and I like Art Deco. I don't like everything she painted, but she made at least half-a-dozen paintings that define Art Deco (for me, anyway).

A section from a Lempicka self-portrait done recently. I got the color of the car wrong...it looked blue in the ref picture I used (The vagaries of internet reproductions). After I'd finished it I found out that the full title of the work is 'Self portrait in a GREEN Lagonda'. So I got it wrong, not that it matters. Didn't like this at first, but it's growing on me.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
