I think this looks like a beautiful please and you have painted it so well.

Beautifully painted!

A wonderful scene beautifully painted.

A really well painted, such a beautiful scene, it has the ancient look and feel to it. Your choices of pallet has added so much to the finished painting

Really appreciate all of you for the kind comments.

I'm getting a deep sense of calm and serenity just by looking at your wonderful painting. You have a great sensitivity, and delicacy of touch.

This is a beautiful painting. What it conveys to me is desolation initially but then I see the red lanterns so there is life there. Then the road guides me along an almost mystical route through the village & out into the far distance. Perfect!

Thank you Jenny, Robert and Valerie, I am thrilled that you feel the same as what I am trying to express in the painting.

This is outstanding! You truly have a talent, I wish I could produce work like this. The detail and the way you have portrayed the scene is wonderful, WOW! William.👍

HI William, really appreciation your encouragement !

Hibiscus Town is over a thousand-year old. It is a lot quieter than its next door Phoenix Town which is much bigger which always crowded with tourists. I like the tranquility of this corner of this ancient Town and their famous Tofu (bean curd). Inside it, you would feel a deep sense of calm and serenity.

I love to practice Tai Chi and do painting, especially plein aire pencil sketch when I travel and watercolour painting at home. The Covid 19 pandemic has given me a lot more time at home to practice watercolour painting.
