The reflections on this are superb, Ken and worth a lot of time painting them. The colours used on the people are spot on and focus the viewer's attention. Yes, I visited Edinburgh twice during the disruption from the tram project - it did spoil Princes Street for a couple of years, though OK now I believe.

It is done very very well and captures a change in the city and it's history.

Recognised your style and subject immediately ! This every day scene is beautifully depicted.... fantastic reflections.

Super work K en, the time spent on the window reflections has paid off handsomely.

Stunning reflections - I can only imagine the concentration it must have taken to get these right. A very skillful piece of work and a nice update on what is happening in Edinburgh (my parents' home town).

Absolutely stunning!! I bet you are pleased with this one.

Wow, fabulous Ken. I love the reflections in the tram and your precision with the medium.

Very clever indeed and spontaneous despite the obvious effort, time (and skill) that went into it.

In May this year (2014), trams were reintroduced to Edinburgh. The cost of the project looks set to exceed £1 billion and understandably the expense isn't popular with the citizens of Edinburgh. However the trams make a fascinating addition to the city scene and I wanted to paint one. I've shown people waiting to board a tram for the airport at a stop on Princes Street. Rendering the reflections in the side of the tram was difficult and time-consuming.
