Pastel on Cansons Paper, 30 x 42 cm. Inspired by a visit to the Pastel Society's show at the Mall Galleries in 2014 I set up this arrangement at home and " had a bash". I wanted the glass to" emerge" from a velvety background to give some mystery but couldn't resist adding the fruit as complementary colours. This painting sold soon after showing it in 2016.
