Fabulous Plein Air painting Keith. I just love all the textures in this. Really brings out the ruggedness of the coastline.

Like this a lot Keith well done.

That's really good

Paints the picture Keith (if you'll forgive the horrible pun) I thought.."Jamaica Inn"....Nice work..

There are some wonderful textures in there Keith, really adds to the atmosphere of the scene.

You've really captured the patina of the coast in your picture. Great painting.

Thank you for your kind comments. Good to know how my art comes across. Keith

A great stretch of coastline to paint,I have had the good fortune to spend time painting from here and also from Pendeen Watch. You capture the rugged landscape, the colour and evoke the atmosphere, congratulations.

Oil on Marbled gessoed mdf board, 23 x 30.5 cm. Palette Knife ( and occasional finger) painting of Pendeen, Gleevor Mine coast in Cornwall, made in 2015 on a stormy afternoon and an easel weighed down with a bag of stones. The TV series Poldark was being filmed nearby during that week. This view looks North East towards Pendeen Lighthouse (white smudge) in the distance.
