Somewhere in the Lakes - recycle challenge.

Love the gorgeous rich colours Katy and the figure gives scale to the painting. Fantastic sky.

Anywhere in the Lakes is good enough for me !! Great colours and as said figures or a figure give it scale.

Beautiful colours and nicely composed

Thanks Carole, Richard and Ceri. I think that was why I shelved it for so long because I thought it needed a figure in there but couldn’t decide where, probably didn’t need 25 years though!

A lovely landscape, well recycled nobody would have noticed if you had not said.

25 years?! Blimey Katy, I think finishing a painting in two days is a long time....lol. It’s a cracker though, like it.

Thanks Paul an Fiona, I suppose recycled isn’t quite the word but if it hadn’t been for the recycle challenge I might not have pulled out all my failed and unfinished work to pick through.

An atmospheric piece that really draws the viewer in. Lovely work!

Thank you Seok.

Ooh this is beautiful Xx

Thank you Amanda, much appreciated.

Wonderful.. I like the contrast between the bright colors of the fields and the dull colors of the mountains.
