This is pretty, Katy, like the way it spills out over the edges of the background colour. (Interested to read in your profile about your horses - horses were a huge part of my life from the age of eight onwards, and I also lost my horse after 25 years.)

Thank you Jenny, just a bit of fun really to pass the time. Missing my horse, lost my second one after 18 years and doubt I’ll have another, until the next one worms it way into my life!

Brilliant Katy! The way you have designed your collage, it feels like I’m walking down a country lane......with all its sights and sounds. I agree with Jenny that setting some parts outside the main frame of the painting looks good and gives it an extra angle.

Enormous fun cutting up failures and using pressed leaves, backed by hand made (recycled?) paper. I haven’t stuck it down, it’s more like a jigsaw puzzle to revisit if I’m in the mood.
