Dozing Duck

I saw lots of these on my morning bike ride, beak tucked under wing, around the lake. I rang my bell & one squawked at me for waking him up. Lovely work.

What a lovely, little, chap Katy. Love the greens in the water, the wetness on the steps and the effect of softness you have achieved on the feathers. Beautiful.

Thank you Carole, Jennifer and Seok, I’m really chuffed with all the response to my duck. Haven’t used pastels for a while but I think it is probably my favourite medium.
