I do like this painting. Its really tricky to do so much white with pastel and either under do it so that it loses the freshness or over do it so that it loses its form. Instead you've used subtle shades of pale pink to compliment the white and the odd bit correctly placed on the leaves. What makes the painting even more outstanding is your background, something that I usually neglect and then get terribly wrong. Well done

Flowers for me is so difficult. You did such a good job. Crisp and fresh. Thanks for your kind commment on Winter Creek.

Just beautiful Judith your use of pastel is wonderful

Lovely pastel work, Judith.

Another lovely one, Judith. Not at all surprised it sold - you have so effectively conveyed the delicacy of the flowers.

Just logged on to your site, some lovely work. Maybe try using the coloured pencils for some flower paintings. Use a very smooth paper to achieve soft effects. Chrissie
